Halo Unified Inbox is a customer communication workspace used to manage WhatsApp Business API, Messenger, Instagram, and related customer conversations for business support, sales follow-up, and service operations.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when customers contact a connected business through WhatsApp or other Meta messaging channels.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the channel and the message content, we may process:
- Customer name, profile name, phone number, WhatsApp ID, Messenger ID, or Instagram ID.
- Messages, replies, attachments, timestamps, delivery status, and conversation history.
- Business channel identifiers, such as WhatsApp Phone Number ID and WhatsApp Business Account ID.
- Internal team information, such as assigned staff member, conversation tags, notes, and follow-up status.
- Technical logs needed for security, debugging, webhook delivery, and audit records.
3. How we use information
We use the information only for legitimate business communication purposes, including:
- Receiving, organizing, and replying to customer messages.
- Providing customer service, order support, appointment follow-up, and product information.

Customer messages and contact records are retained for as long as needed to provide support, maintain business records, meet legal obligations, and protect account security. We may delete or anonymize records when they are no longer required.
6. Data security
We use access control, encrypted credential storage, audit logs, and administrative permissions to help protect connected channels and customer information. However, no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Your choices and deletion requests

8. Meta platform data
When you communicate with us through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or Instagram, Meta may also process your information according to Meta's own terms and privacy policies. This policy applies only to information processed by Halo Unified Inbox and the connected business account.
